The end
Wow I can't believe it's the end of the book I mean I know their was a lot of adventures in the story like on page 70 when Bernie goes out side and beats her fear of the out side and also on page 99 when Heidi fist comes on to the bus to Liberty and when her big adventure starts to find out what the word soof means those are just some of the starting page in the book for the adventures Heidi and Bernie have. But some times you just have to let go and take for a whieal I guess and that is just what Heidi's mom did at the end of the book she had a long rest.

Yes, that is a good way to think of what Sophia did at the end of the book. I guess she just had hard life and it was time to just let it go. I think that she felt sad because she lost her best friend (Elliot) and then at the end she thought she lost Heidi as well. I guess she just felt like there was no reason she should live and just let herself go.-Sarah W
