Her Name

Even though you may know this from chapter 4 how it shows Heidi's moms name I just wanted to point out that in the chapter on page 36 it has a list of thing's Heidi knows about her mom but on that list it only shows that Heidi knows only her mom's name. How come she only knows that much about her mother? Do you think it's because of her moms mental disability and her mom doesn't really tell Heidi a lot of stuff about her self. Or do you think it's because of something else. What do you think?

    This is a great response and some amazing questions. I think your point about her mom So B. It not being able to tell her much about herself is a very good point. I think it would be difficult to not be able to have a conversation with parents. Could you imagine not being able to learn about your parents background?

    I think so to Mr.Bowen. I would feel the exact same way as Heidi feels always haveing that big question like what do you mean and also what are you talking about run through your mind all day, something like that would drive a peron crazy at least Heidi hasn't gone crazy about the word ''Soof'' her mother always says.
