Mother of 2

On page 150 when the phone lines works again and Heidi calls Bernadette when she  is in Liberty Heidi hears her mother calling Bernie for help then Heidi starts to get angry at her because she needs her. The quote to show this is ''She needs me, Heidi. I need you too.'' I choose this quote because it shows that Bernadette is like a mother of Heidi and Heidis mom even though Bernadette isin't ,but in this book Heidi and her mom both really need her and I think that they look at her as a mother. What do you think?

    i think that they think of her as there caretacker but not there mom i think this becuse they need her and she needs them for geting stuff. who do you think looks at the other one as the leader?

    Hi Owen and Emily,

    Wow, these are both great questions. Who is leading who? With Bernie's agoraphobia fear how long can she lead Heidi before Heidi feels restricted by Bernie's fears. Do you think Heidi needs this mystery solved before she can group up.

    Emily great use of quotes.
